3 Doors Down Home Staging & Interior Redesign
3 Doors Down Home Staging & Interior Redesign is located in Folsom, California servicing all local markets in and around Placer, El Dorado and Sacramento counties. Our services are tailored to help home owners, real estate professionals and developers & builders maximize the potential of their properties.
While originally from Folsom, I've recently returned after 12 years in NY for a new life in sunny California with my husband, our 5 year old boxer and a baby boy on the way. Having enjoyed a very successful real estate career working in New York, New Jersey & Philadelphia; I'm ready (and excited) to re-launch my company here on the West Coast focusing solely on Staging. The earlier part of my career was mainly focused on RE sales, but without even realizing it I evolved into staging; first my own properties, then other agent listings. In time, I naturally went from just 'staging' to consulting with builders on finish selections for their new developments, as well as complete model home design. I've found that coming from a RE sales background provides a unique perspective on what it means to stage a space, working with home sellers to maximize their investment, in addition to making agents jobs just a little less complicated.

Testimonial
- I met Leyla and went through the initial walk through. It was immediately
obvious that her experience was going to be of
great assistance in selling my place quickly
and at the rate I desired. After 2 weeks of taking
her recommendations and doing some work on the
apartment; painting, moving furniture, allowing
her to add accessories (she actually helped organize
all the work for me). My place looked like apartments
you see in decorating magazines. People would
come by and comment about how wonderful it was;
families, neighbors, single women, all types of folks.
The net result was wonderful. I was able to sell my place for 20K above what it was listed. My place sold in a bidding war between multiple interested parties. It all happen within 1 month of listing, at a time the real-estate market started to go down and consumer confidence was dropping.I can't thank Leyla enough...

Why Stage?
"Why wouldn’t a buyer see what we see?"
Let’s face it, I’ve never walked into a staging consultation and had someone tell me “I have the ugliest house ever, I know why you are here, deliver me from my bad taste and help me sell my house”…that would be too easy. We all love our homes, we all love our “decorating abilities” and generally it’s difficult for us to see something other than the home that we love and cherish. Why wouldn’t a buyer see what we see? Surely a buyer understands that it’s the house they are buying and not our stuff, right??
Have you ever walked into a Crate & Barrel during the holidays and walked out with 5 cinnamon spice candles and a dozen overpriced ornaments that you didn’t need? I have. That store smells so good, the holiday music is playing in the background and everything in the store is arranged so beautifully….it’s an entire experience the second you walk in the store. You can’t resist. All of those things weren’t an accident; retailers spend a fortune creating this experience so we will buy their product. Your product is your home and through home staging, our goal is to create that same irresistible experience for buyers.
In 2006 I left a successful career in events and marketing to pursue real estate and I immediately found myself recommending changes to my sellers that were having profound results on the selling prices and time it took to sell their homes. Soon enough the owner of my real estate firm had me consulting on all of our in house listings and other local agents started calling me to do the same for them. Eventually “3 Doors Down Home Staging & Interior Redesign” was born.
Everyone knows a house about “3 Doors Down” or so that needs some work…..So that’s us in a nut shell. Oh, and we firmly believe that whether staging your home for sale or redesigning it for your personal enjoyment, design should be fun and the process infused with warmth and a great sense of humor!
